Strategic litigation: It is the strategy that uses the justice sector to achieve legal and social change through litigating cases. Strategic litigation is concerned with social justice as much as individual justice. Principle objectives of strategic litigation are to identify gaps in laws, to change laws or policies that violate human rights and fundamental freedoms. Besides, it helps to raise awareness, foster public discussion on specific issues and empowers marginalized groups of society.
